  Long-time customer, first genuinely poor experience and worth flagging. I booked a van online(Reservation no: 2096606141) with Harold Wood branch last night for 22nd–26th May. This morning the branch called to say the van wasn't available and they might need to cancel. I asked if they could pull one from Romford, which they've done for me in the past, and they said they'd try while also suggesting I ring Romford myself. I called Romford directly - van available, ready to book. I called Harold Wood back to let them know, and was told Romford had refused to release it. That directly contradicted what Romford had just confirmed to me. I was then told to cancel my reservation. I've booked with Romford, who sorted it instantly. A couple of questions for the branch manager: 1. If the vehicle wasn't available, why was it bookable online and confirmed to me overnight? Inventory needs to reflect reality and taking a booking you can't honour isn't a small inconvenience. 2. Inter-branch sourcing is something Enterprise is genuinely known for, and Harold Wood has done it for me before. The story I was given today didn't add up against what Romford told me directly. Whatever happened internally, the customer shouldn't be the one left chasing it. Harold Wood is my local branch and I've rented from them for a long time without any complaints ,which is the only reason I'm bothering to write this. The fix here isn't complicated it's accurate inventory, and the same willingness to help that used to be the norm at this branch. Disappointed!

  Not to be trusted! Poor communication, poor cleanliness of vehicle, and take photos of the bodywork, tires and windows. They will charge you without proof. Enterprise get better staff start with the manager, he doesn’t have a clue!

  Terrible customer service, The Lady called me last minute to cancel my booking saying the system overbooked she had no alternatives, no suggestions no assurances that she raise this to ensure this does not happen again. Just bad attitude hanging up the phone, honestly the review should really be a 0 unfortunately Google doesn't let you.
